Charlie’s Haus

Its been awhile since my last real post.  Life has kinda given us a swift kick in the ass lol.  Nothing super horrible…just enough to keep us on our toes.  Mandi ruptured her appendix and spent nearly a week in the hospital.  They finally scheduled her surgery for July 11th.  I spent everyday in the hospital, and real life stuff kinda just piled up.  I didnt have time to really do more than check my email and browse a few websites.

Then a few weeks ago at work we took over another department.  The guy who managed the computer lab left and all the work got dumped on me.  So needless to say I have been super busy at work lately. 

 I have been out fishing one day this year so far and havent even had the boat out.  I hope to rectify that this weekend though.

Saturday we are going to MBT!  (Milton Beer Tent).  I love the MBT.  Good times. 

Im trying to get everything ported over to the new site and will be working on it as quick as I can.

Well I got sick of the good old phpNuke site.  It was aging and the new version are so insecure it isnt funny.  So I have done some searching and came across this software.  It looks like it will get the job done pretty well.  It even allowed me to import all my old posts (although they lost the timestamps…no biggy really).  So I will be moving everything over in short order hopefully.

Did you know you can send sounds to people in the webchat? Yep you can! Just click on the help button inside the chat session and it will show you all the available sounds/smilies and how to use them!

Well I have finally added pictures to the site and have gotten some in there. It is super easy to add them so if you have something you want me to put in the site just let me know. Look for the next set of pics after the wedding. You will see an update on the homepage when I have them up.

Ok, so the newest version of Trillian has been released. So what you are saying. Well do you hate that you have friends/family on all 4 or 5 chat programs (aol, yahoo, msn, icq, irc)?

Now available in the picture gallery are the Pictures from John and Sarah’s Wedding. Some of the ones I had didnt turn out so if you have some pics I could borrow and then scan in let me know. Also, if you would like the original image of any of these pics let me know and I can send it to you. The picture size on the site only will allow for about a 3×5 size print, the original files will allow up to a 11×7, but the files are kinda big. Just email me if you want one…Enjoy! ~Charlie

Ok, I have upgraded the version of PHP-Nuke to the latest version. It has some new features which I am trying to get to work and are pretty sweet. I also added a google search button which goes to google, searches, then returns the info here. It is pretty sweet. There are also some new themes available if you go to “Your Account” and then choose themes after logging in. As always, comments are appreciated.
