Charlie’s Haus

Well I havent had much time lately to update this page.  Well, I dont know if its really the lack of time or just the lack of feeling like it.  I have been dealing with stomach pains since the weekend I left for Chicago.  I went to the dr multiple times.  I swore it had felt like a gull stone, but the dr said no.  So finally after thinking I had Irritable Bowel Syndrome he sent me for a ct scan.  He ended up finding a stone in my bladder just hanging out there.  I have to go back since I am still having pains.  Not fun at all.  I just always feel like doing nothing and I have been sleeping like crap.  Hopefully it wont be much longer.

Santa was pretty good to me this year.  The thing I dont like about xmas is all the running around.  It just never feels relaxing to me.  Nonetheless I made it through   We have 1 more christmas to go on my moms side.  It should be pretty fun, we are doing bingo and white elephant gifts. 

My buddy Cory got a Wii so I am heading over to his house to play it.  It looks super fun, I cant wait to try it out.

I took this entire week off.  I have a lot of vacation to burn and a lot of things to get done.  One of those being the 2nd section of desk.  Hopefully I will get some ambition to get it all done.

Well a lot has been going on since the last update.  On the way home from Chicago on that Friday I stopped to the walk-in clinic.  I have/had been having pains in my stomach for almost a week at that point.  The dr kicked me out the door and said to come back on tuesday if I was still having the pains.  I saw my Dr on Wed.  After some tests he said that its probably IBS and gave me some medicine.  The drugs helped the pain a little bit, but I am still having some weird pains.  Ill probably go back after the new year if I am still having them.  They are way better than they were though.

One night last week, Mandi and I learned about the cool new carwash/detail place that is in Middleton.  I needed my car washed and the one at the gas station was really backed up, so I decided to go to the fancy new one.  Its a little weird but I really like it now.  Its the type where they actually have the stips hanging down etc.  They also gave you a rag to clean the inside of your car while you went through.  Im definately hooked.  It is a little more expensive but it does a much better job, thats for sure.

We went and got our xmas tree.  That was an ordeal.  We thought we went to the same place, but the guy informed us that there were 2 farms on this little road in the middle of nowhere.  So anyways, to get to the trees you had to walk up a mountain, across a vast stretch of corn field, then a soy bean field, and finally through the forest.  After about a good 2 miles you were finally there (no kidding, it was really that far).  We found a tree and he told us how to drive to get it.  That was way easier. Its up now in the living room with lights on it.  Just need to get some decorations on it.

Other than that there has just been a lot of little stuff going on.  Keeping busy is not a problem, lol. 

On a quick other note, I installed Vista and Office 2007 on my work pc.  I am absolutely loveing outlook 2007 so far.  Vista isnt to shabby either.  Some things to get used to though.  More on that after I have some time to use it.
