It finally arrived! My Jellyfish.com tshirt. I love free stuff….especially when that free stuff is a tshirt! My world revolves around free tshirts. Anyways, I chronicled the wonderful opening of the tshirt…here we go!

Well I left work early last night and headed to Lake Waubesa for some ice fishing fun. I am so glad I did too! Caught a bunch of nice size Bluegills and Perch. Way better than being at work. The best thing is that nobody around me was catching anything. I was also the furthest out from the crowd.

Well this weekend I finally got fishing! And not only did I go fishing 1 day, but I went Saturday and Sunday! First off, it was so much nicer having the truck. Toss everything in the back and go. Cory went with me both days. We went to Monona Bay. We fished off the beach but noticed a ton of people on the southwest side of the bay, at first I was like, oh, must just have more ice there or something. Well it turns out Cory talked to the fishing guy at his work today and thats where they were biting. He said he limited out both days. Cory and I had 6 keepers total each day (well, I only took 4 home on Saturday cause someone dropped 2 back in teh hole on accident ;D). Oh well, it was just nice to get out. I actually have been thinking about taking off of work early and going out 1 day this week. I have a ton of vacation to burn anyways.
I have the truck fixed mostly (as you could probably tell…lol). I do have some exhaust leaks. Well, not really leaks as not fitting together. Both sides of the exhaust manifold gaskets were gone. When I replaced them they didnt line up quite right. I put them together as well as I could though. I figured it was good enough till it gets warm again. I have some small things here and there to fix yet, but all in due time. The biggest thing I have left now is a new windshield washer pump. It really sucks not having one. I gave her the Seafoam treatment today. I can already tell that it idles much better now. I guess thats what happens when a vehicle gets less than 1000 miles put on it in a year for 8 years…lol. I plan to drive it some. Its nice driving a truck again. And since its a v6 I shouldnt get all that much worse gas mileage than my car.
Friday is hockey night again! WOOHOO! Cant beat free tickets. I woman at work gave me 4 tickets to take my buddy Cory and his wife along with Mandi and I. It will be their first game. Cant wait!
Wow…has it been that long already? Time sure seems to go faster than it used to. Our final xmas is over, so I decided last night to take down the tree. Our living room looks so bare now.
2 weeks ago I bought a “new” truck. Its new to me anyways 
Its a 91′ Chevy 4×4 with only 87,000 miles on it. I got the truck for a song at $750. It has some rust, most notably the cab corners are gone. But for the price I cant complain. The only bad part is that its a 6 cylinder. But overall, I think it will do just fine for pulling the boat and whatever else I need it to do. I plan on adding a couple of power adders (Throttle body spacer, new intake, and possibly an electric fan) and those should help it too.
Tomorrow we are going to the hockey game. I hope they win. We really need to send those gophers packing…lol. It should be a lot of fun, my mom is coming down and my cousin John is going too. My sister and her boyfriend and a couple of Mandi and mines friends will be there. The only bad part is Mandi and a couple friends will have to sit a few rows up from us. I couldnt get that many tickets all together. Not that big of a deal though.
My buddy Scott and I went and ate at Jada’s again today. Its this small “southern” style restaurant in the ‘hood. They have the absolute best catfish around. It amazingly doesnt have that fishy flavor that catfish usually has. You also get 2 sides to go with it (the list changes daily). You really cant beat it for the price. The owner is really nice and gave us some peach cobler to try. The only thing that would make it better is some ice cream….yummy! I also love their banana pudding.
Well thats the quick gossip on this end. Im just going to enjoy my nice 3 day weekend. If I get some stuff done, good. Otherwise, whatever. LOL! Hope everyone has a good weekend!
